Hi everyone,

 

I know so many of you are working from home and have other children to help, as well as family members to care for, so PLEASE do what you can with your Senior Infant.

 

If they just read their PM book, write their sentence and do some math’s every day, that’s fantastic!

 

Our theme for this month is ‘Space’! A fun activity that is sure to keep your child busy is to set up their own Aistear space themed role play area at home. They can use blocks, lego, toys, empty boxes, chairs, cardboard, blankets etc as materials.  

 

Possible scenarios are: in the rocket ship, landing on the moon, NASA command centre, inside an alien spaceship etc. They all love our role play area in class and it’s a super way to use space themed vocabulary and learn about 'Space'! 

I will upload some useful vocabulary and videos to SeeSaw, to help with this.

You may upload photos or videos of activities completed to SeeSaw for me to view.
