Here are some of our Senior Infant activities...
👻 We cut and glued 2D shapes to make a Halloween 🧙♀️ .
🔴Using our Maths Eyes we hunted for 2D shapes in the school environment...👀
🍕 We made pizzas too...I mean, they ARE circles, semi circles and triangles after all! 😂
🎃Mrs O’Connor gave us a Halloween maths colouring challenge to complete, which was fun! 🎃
🤖 The Beebots helped us learn to code...and also learn our tricky words!
📚 We read stories about numbers, sharing things in halves and we looked for patterns & shapes in the illustrations.
6️⃣Thanks to Ms Fahy for letting us borrow her Numicon city challenge. We had to find the correct numicon number to match the each building outline.🌃
🌲 On Friday we had a Maths Scavenger hunt outside . Each group had 5 challenges to do and things got very competitive! 😆
